The HP LaserJet Pro MFP M130a uses HP 17A toner cartridges. HP 17A toner comes in black; the black cartridge prints 1,600 pages.
The HP LaserJet Pro MFP M130a is the smallest multi-function LaserJet printer available from HP and offers a great value and efficient device for small businesses and home offices. It enables you to generate fast and professional-looking documents repeatedly, as well as reducing the amount of energy used. This all-in-one printer, scanner and copier has been designed to fit into small spaces, providing you with all the features you require from an office machine in a compact form.
The HP M130a has one 150-sheet input tray. The flatbed scanner is accessed from the top and it can produce black and white pages to a maximum resolution of 1200 dpi and colour documents up to 600 dpi. The multi-function printer has an LCD screen at the side to indicate the status of jobs and access maintenance requirements.
The HP LaserJet Pro MFP M130a produces extremely high quality documents for such a small device and can copy, scan and print at relatively fast speeds. When it’s used as a printer or copier, the M130a has a maximum speed of 22 pages per minute and can print off the first page in only 7.3 seconds. This device benefits from HP’s automatic on/off technology, which helps to save energy when the printer is not being used. You can start printing straight away, with the fast connection to a PC via the high-speed USB 2.0 port.
The HP M130a doesn’t have the capability to print wirelessly and cannot be attached to a mobile device. There is no fax facility included with this multi-function printer and the limited paper capacity might be an issue for larger offices.
