The Kyocera ECOSYS M6030cdn uses Kyocera TK-5140-3PACK toner cartridges. Kyocera TK-5140-3PACK toner comes in multicolour; the multicolour cartridge prints 5,000 pages.
The Kyocera ECOSYS M6030cdn is fast and produces high-quality text and images in full colour and black and white. Double-sided printing is a standard, and the copy and scan functions eliminate the need to invest in a separate photocopier and scanner. Expansions enable the ECOSYS M6030cdn to grow with a small business, but there are a few inadequacies in the build, and the initial paper capacity is too low for an office.
The boxy build measures 475mm wide, 558mm deep, and 616mm tall, and it weighs approximately 34.6Kg when the toner cartridges are installed. The Kyocera ECOSYS M6030cdn runs on 1024MB RAM, which is expandable to 2048MB, and it is powered by a 1GHZ PowerPC 465S processor. The input tray can handle up to 1850 sheets, and the output bin, which comes with a paper full sensor, can handle 250 sheets. The standard interfaces are USB 2.0, two USB host ports, and Gigabit Ethernet.
The Kyocera ECOSYS M6030cdn can print in speeds of up to 30 ppm in colour and monochrome, in a resolution of up to 9,600dpi. It has a built-in duplexer, which supports A6 scanning. The advanced scan feature can transform documents into encrypted and compact PDF. Up to five input trays can be loaded into the Kyocera ECOSYS M6030cdn to make it more versatile for a wide range of media types. AirPring, Mopria, and KYOCERA mobile print are supported. It is cheap to operate in the long run.
The initial paper capacity of the Kyocera ECOSYS M6030cdn is low, so users are inclined to buy additional paper trays if they require heavier printing requirements. There are minor issues on the build, such as the lack of Wi-Fi, and the frame, which is heavy, boxy, and can take up too much space.
