The Kyocera ECOSYS P2035d is a straightforward printer that is easy to set up and operate. It is notably fast with speeds of up to 35ppm in A4, and the built-in duplexer simplifies the production of double-sided documents to save resources. However, it prints only in monochrome and there are no built-in networking options.
Design
The rugged frame is like a small box that measures 250mm tall, 393mm deep, and 375mm wide. The Kyocera ECOSYS P2035d weighs 12kg and the small footprint makes it easy to set up on a standard office desk. It uses the ECOSYS laser technology with an engine that runs on 32MB of RAM and powered by a 360MHz processor. High-speed USB 2.0 is the standard interface along with a KUIO interface slot. The small and simplified operator panel consists of two operational buttons. Media is handled via a 250-sheet universal paper cassette, 50-sheet multi-purpose tray, and 250-sheet output bin.
Advantages
The Kyocera ECOSYS P2035d toner warms up quickly, prints fast, and produces sharp text and smooth monochrome images in 1200dpi resolution. Users have the option to upgrade the memory to 544MB.
