One of the more advanced multifunction printers from Kyocera, the Kyocera FS-1325MFP offers printing, copying, scanning, and Super G3 faxing all in one compact unit. It has faster print rates, spitting out as many as 25 A4 pages in a minute, thanks to its powerful print engine, that can also produce high resolutions up to 1200 dpi. The Kyocera FS-1325MFP even offers fast warm-up times, and it has speedy scan and copy rates up to 20 ipm/cpm. It has standard USB connectivity as well as a network interface for easier workgroup sharing. However, the unit still does not offer full colour support, as colour production is limited to scanned images.
Design
The Kyocera FS-1325MFP is a 4-in-one device designed for all around office use. It has an automatic document feeder located right on top of the flatbed scanner. The control panel is neatly laid out, complete with intuitive buttons for controlling basic functions. The device even has a duplex unit and it supports network connectivity via the Ethernet base. Built for all-around workgroup use, the Kyocera FS-1325MFP also boasts fast copy rates and high scan resolutions up to 600x600 dpi.
Advantages
The impressive multifunction features are the biggest pull of the Kyocera FS-1325MFP, but it also boasts many other features such as the fast 390 MHz processor and 64 MB standard memory. It offers high-speed fax transmission and it is built with the most durable components, guaranteeing long life even with heavy use. The device produces crisp and sharp prints and even high-resolution black and white graphics.
Disadvantages
The Kyocera FS-1325MFP is a monochrome device, which means it is limited to monochrome print and copy production. Its scan feature, however, offers full colour image scanning which could frustrate the user as they can only print again in monochrome.
