Kyocera TASKalfa 4550ci Toner Cartridges

Design

The base unit of the Kyocera TASKalfa 4550ci printer weighs approximately 114Kg and measures 668mm wide, 747mm tall, and 767mm deep. It uses the signature KYOCERA laser colour HyPAS solution technology to print, running on two gigabytes of RAM and an IBM PowerPC 750GL/150MHz processor. Outside, the focal point is the properly labelled control panel with the large colour TFT screen. The matte, stylish build allows the TASKalfa 4550ci to fit into creative environments. Connectivity is via high-speed USB 2.0 and Ethernet. Paper handling includes two 500-sheet standard paper cassettes and a 150-sheet multipurpose tray. This device requires four separate Kyocera 4550ci toner cartridges with print yields of 30,000 black pages or 20,000 pages per colour.

Advantages

The maximum paper capacity is up to 7,650 sheets. There is built-in Super G3-compatible 33.6Kbps fax, a digital copier, and a versatile scanner. The Kyocera 4550ci colour laser MFP prints documents fast at up to 45ppm in both monochrome and colour on A4-sized media. Colour reproduction is accurate for basic graphics because of advanced colour technology and the multi-bit 9,600x600dpi technology resolution. The Kyocera TASKalfa 4550ci multifunction printer is integrated with high memory and a high capacity hard disk drive for built-in storage and security. A wide selection of media is supported by the Kyocera TASKalfa 4550ci, and there are approximately eight finishing options and paper handling functions. Stackless two-sided and direct printing are supported.

Disadvantages

Price is one of the setbacks of the TASKalfa 4550ci because apart from the high initial cost, the additional paper handling components for the machine are also expensive. It is a heavyweight, too. Features such as network faxing and internet fax are optional in the Kyocera TASKalfa 4550ci colour multifunction system. Large capacity and high speed one-path duplex scanning are only possible after upgrading the machine.
