It prints, scans, copies and faxes both in colour and black and white. In addition, it provides outstanding value and performance. You can count on reliability, speed, customised solutions and versatile paper handling. Experience the huge benefits of a colour copier and colour printing with a moderately sized machine.

Design

This printer uses the technology of a colour tandem laser, with speeds of up to 35 ppm in both monochrome and colour. The Lexmark CS521dn printer measures 17.4 x 16.6 x 12.1 inches and has a 1000 MHz processor with 512MB of memory. It supports both Windows and Mac operating systems, and it can be connected through USB or an Ethernet network. It includes optional software known as the Lexmark Document Solutions Suite. The printing resolution is a maximum of 1200 x 1200 dpi. The printer’s maximum duty cycle is up to 85,000 pages each month. It also includes multiple 500-sheet input trays.

Advantages

This printer offers input and output duplexing as standard with optional finishing capabilities. Its easy-to-use colour touch screen allows access to all functions of printing, copying, faxing and scanning. The printer saves money by consolidating multiple functions into one device, and it simplifies business processes by offering customized document workflow with the Lexmark Document Solutions Suite software, and through the Distributed EDMS document capture of Scan to email. It supports versatile colour applications such as brilliant colour graphics used in point-of-sale materials that are time-sensitive.

Disadvantages

The printer consumes a larger office space when compared to the printers. Its support for media types is somewhat limited as well as it only allows printing on particular kinds of paper.
