The Lexmark MS911de monochrome printer is a high volume, energy-efficient mono laser printer that’s designed to cater to mid-sized and large offices. It’s fast, has advanced finishing features and a large paper capacity, as well as being able to work with various platforms, including Apple, Linux, Windows and Novell.
Design
The Lexmark MS-911de is an attractive printer with a pop-up 10.9cm colour touchscreen display, two paper trays and a top paper output bin. It's a powerful printer that measures 615 x 696mm and is 770mm high, while weighing just under 74kgs. The MS911de mono printer comes standard with Ethernet and USB ports as well as an internal card slot and direct to print USB slot. For paper handling, the Lexmark MS911de black and white laser printer has two paper trays, each of which can carry 500 sheets, in addition to having a 150-sheet multipurpose tray.
Advantages
Function and volume are heightened when using the Lexmark MS911de mono laser printer thanks to its finishing functions, which include offset stacking, stapling and hole punching. It's also a fast printer that can print the first page in less than 5.5 seconds and then boasts a printing speed of up to 55ppm. It also creates high quality documents with its 1,200 x 1,200dpi printing resolution, while the printer’s monthly duty cycle is 125,000 pages. Other features of the Lexmark MS911de A3 monochrome printer include an automatic duplexer, network security functions and the option to increase the paper capacity to up to 6,650 sheets. Long-lasting fuser and photoconductor parts mean that the MS-911de laser printer’s consumables are replaced infrequently while the black Lexmark 54X cartridge lasts for as many as 32,500 pages.
Disadvantages
Wireless connectivity would make the Lexmark MS911de printer a much more productive office machine, though this function does come as an option.
