The Lexmark MX317dn is a monochrome multifunction laser printer with the ability to print, scan, copy and fax making it useful for a small or home office. It produces a high quality of documents without needing frequent maintenance. With a number of environmentally friendly features operating costs low and wastage is reduced. However as this is a monochrome printer only consider all printing needs before purchasing if this is to be your only printer. The standard paper capacity is low meaning you are likely to need additional paper trays at extra cost or tolerate regular printer downtime for refills at busy times.

Design

Housed in a classic grey case the Lexmark MX317dn measures 468 x 399 x 472 mm. Paper storage is in a 250-sheet input tray and a 50-sheet manual paper feeder which can be increased to up to 850 sheets if further trays are purchased. The control panel on the front of the device includes a colour LCD display screen and key pad. Connection is achieved from a USB or network interface with the option to upgrade to a wireless connection if required. Print speeds are 35ppm, resolution is 1200 dpi and the monthly duty cycle is 50,000 pages.
