The Lexmark MX421ade uses Lexmark 56F0Z00 toner cartridges. Lexmark 56F0Z00 toner comes in black; the black cartridge prints 60,000 pages.
The Lexmark MX421ade printer is a monochrome laser printer that is designed for small offices or irregular use, but it has multi-function features that make this a good all-rounder. Copying, scanning and faxing are all included features in addition to the printing function that helps to make this printer perfect for the home office too. The printer is compatible with different operating systems including Windows and Mac.
The MX421ade Lexmark has a duplex feature included to help you to save paper, and a colour touch screen measuring 10.9 cm has been added to help you to effectively monitor the way that the printer is working. Paper feed trays on the printer will hold around 250 sheets of paper. The dimensions measure 46.7x39.9x42.95 cm and the unit weighs just over 19 kg. There is a flatbed scanner on the printer.
The print speed of the mono Lexmark MX421ade is around 40 ppm although this is on standard paper and can vary when printing labels and envelopes. The printer can be connected using ethernet or USB and the time for the first page on each print job is just 6.25 seconds. One of the main advantages of this printer is that it has a toner cartridge with an extra-high yield of 20,000 sheets of paper, so you could install this and not have to replace it for many months. The small size of the printer means that you could put this anywhere in the office and it is also light enough to be moved by one person if needed.
The Lexmark laser printer can only print on paper up to A4 size which may not be adequate depending upon the type of printing being done. It also has no colour printing, which many offices see as a disadvantage these days.
