The Lexmark X792dtme model is a colour multifunction device designed with expanded input capacity to maximise professional printing productivity. This is a robust printer that would fit in well in most business environments that can execute a diverse range of printing jobs for a variety of applications in the office.
Design
This model features an intuitive touch screen which is user-friendly and easily navigable to make the scheduling of printing jobs effortless and speedy. The Lexmark e-Task touch screen is a 10-inch colour interface to maximise productivity. The Lexmark X792dtme also features two 550 sheet drawers and a five-bin mailbox, meaning that large volumes of printing output are possible. With regards to connectivity, this device supports Ethernet and USB port connection. The device is designed with a grey and white colour scheme to blend in to the background of any office or working environment. It can print up to 50 pages per minute and is recommended to suit the needs of a medium to large-sized workgroup.
Advantages
As a colour multifunction printer, the Lexmark X792dtme can execute colour copying, faxing, printing, scanning and network scanning. It has a first page out time of eight seconds, with 1200 x 1200 dpi and 4800 Colour Quality ensuring the high-resolution images can be produced consistently. It has a large memory at 1024MB as standard, which can be expanded to 2048MB maximum. Furthermore, the Lexmark X792dtme has approved Energy Star certification and has a low footprint, making this both an economic and ecological machine.
Disadvantages
With a 54 dBA operating noise level during duplex printing, this device might not be suitable for a small office or one in which louder machines will be noticed. Furthermore, with a weight of 126.6 kg, this is not a small device and is more heavy-duty than many other multi-function printers.
