Developed to meet a range of business challenges, the Lexmark XM7170x laserjet printer is a great multitasker that takes care of printing, faxing, copying and scanning. It is a tall, elegant printer with a small footprint that suits offices with a heavy work load but only minimal space. There is a standard input tray of 2,750 sheets, 1GB of memory supported by a 160GB hard disk, and an 800 MHz dual-core processor. Connectivity is supported via gigabit Ethernet, so users can scan documents to a network, send them via fax or email them. When time is short, use a finishing feature, such as offset stacking, stapled documents or assigned mailboxes, to boost productivity.
Design
This slim all-in-one Lexmark machine is compatible with a range of paper and envelope sizes. It has a built-in double-sided printing function and has a monthly duty cycle of 350,000 pages. With optimised paper handing components, it will rarely experience a jam, so downtime is kept low. Using the large, bright 10.2-inch touchscreen, operators can access a range of apps to make their workflow more efficient, and they can customise this interface to show the most popular items first. The printer weighs a sizable 80.6kg and measures 1133mm x 663mm x 734mm.
Advantages

Disadvantages
Without a standard wireless connection, this multifunction Lexmark printer does not feel as innovative as others in its price range. It also lacks the ability to print in colour.
