The Oki C831DM offers a good average print speed of 35 pages a minute when printing on A4 paper. The unit handles not only standard printing but can also print onto banners and envelopes. However, the lack of copy, scan and fax functions means that this printer offers limited scope for most businesses.
Design
The printer offers OKI ProQ2400 Multilevel image enhancement technology, and you can make the duplex feature automatic if required. The unit has a total media capacity of 400 sheets, with 300 of these in the input tray. The dimensions of the printer are 44.9cm x 55.2cm x 36cm, making the size of this machine substantial. The printer comes with all the software you need to get started.
Advantages
This unit does print up to A3 paper size, so can handle a variety of office printing tasks. The printer is compatible with most Windows and Apple operating systems. Cartridges are included with the machine, and both the black and colour cartridges can give up to 2,500 pages of quality printing, which is a good print volume for the average office.
