A colour laser printer built for a busy office setting, the Ricoh Aficio SPC310 is the ideal choice for those looking for laser-quality text and graphics prints, as well as good photo quality. It can be hooked up to multiple computers via wired Ethernet networking or high-speed USB. A dedicated printer, the Ricoh Aficio SPC310 is not the best choice for those looking for multifunction device with a copier, scanner, and fax machine.
Design
The Ricoh Aficio SPC310 is renowned for its environment-friendly features. It boasts energy saving features such as its ECO Night Sensor, which causes it to power down when lights are out. Its energy save mode is also very effective and does not cause conflict with warm-up time. Other machines refuse to warm up after being in sleep mode, but not the Ricoh Aficio SPC310.
Advantages
Other advantages of using the Ricoh Aficio SPC310 include better running costs and true-colour print outputs with maximum resolutions of up to 2400x600 dpi. Full colour and black and white prints come out at a rate of 20-26ppm, and first prints are out in a matter of 14 seconds or less.
Disadvantages
The Ricoh Aficio SPC310 colour laser printer does only one job – printing – but it does it very well. Those who require other functions are better off with another model.
