Expert review of the Samsung SL-M4020NX printer
The Samsung SL-M4020NX is a monochrome laser printer with mid-range features for its size. It fits neatly on top of most desks. The most impressive feature is the dual core processor that ensures printing at amazing speed. Unfortunately, this printer is not full colour. It is solely for printing which it does very well, but it would be excellent if it had the functions of a multi-purpose machine.
Design
The Samsung SLM4020NX is roughly the shape of a cube, measuring 366 x 368 x 278 mm. It is light in weight at 10.27 kg. Resolution is not lacking at up to 1200 x 1200 dpi. The white body and black top make sure this machine is compatible with almost any existing office equipment. There is also a useful USB port in the top right corner of the front face. This allows for convenient printing directly from a USB stick.
Advantages
The Samsung SL-M4020NX is attractive with a colour LCD touch screen that is easy to use and large, measuring over four inches. Fortunately, the user interface is designed intuitively and with an easy setup. The economy print feature saves money in the long run, and the impressive monthly duty cycle is a maximum of up to 100,000 pages. The print speed is quite impressive due to the dual core processor, with. Black prints produced at speeds of up to 40 ppm on A4 paper. You can also print easily straight from a USB memory stick.
Disadvantages
It is difficult to find any negative aspects to this speedy, reliable, eco-friendly, and easy-to-use printer. The one downside is that is does not provide the flexibility of a multi-functional machine. While this Samsung M4020NX has a large, intuitive colour LCD touch screen, it does not print colour. It would be fantastic to see a colour printer with these print speeds.
