The Sharp MX-2314N is a powerful print, copy, scan, fax and file device built for the demands of a busy office or workgroup. The all-in-one nature of the machine is typified by its cloud connectivity features, which allow for the installation of software-as-a-service apps to drive productivity. The entry-level Sharp MX-2314N can also be customised with a range of add-ons to improve performance and functionality. It is perfect for a small enterprise or home environment.
Design
The Sharp MX-2314N is relatively compact with dimensions of 583 mm x 642 mm x 834 mm, and it uses a two-tone grey aesthetic to complement modern décor types. There is a seven-inch touchscreen LCD located near the top of the device for easy access and intuitive controls. The printer is ENERGY STAR certified, while it also has green-friendly Eco Scan functions and auto shutdown capabilities to reduce watt usage when idle. The maximum paper capacity of 3,100 sheets is ideal for large workloads. Sharpdesk Mobile provides easy-access prints from smartphones.
Advantages
The Sharp MX-2314N produces excellent text and photos with every print and copy. The machine is highly customisable, allowing users to add a 320GB hard drive, Wi-Fi adapter, and numerous other finishing and security options to suit the needs of any modern business. Disadvantages
The Sharp MX-2341N is an entry-level all-in-one unit and optional extras are often required to increase its usability in business settings. The 512MB of RAM may impact performance for graphic-intensive prints, though it can be upgraded to 1GB.
