The Sharp MX-3100N is a network-ready multifunction copier intended for businesses and medium to large offices. The MX3100N colour multifunction copier has a resolution of 600 x 600 dpi and delivers solid black and white text documents and vibrant coloured images and graphics. Aside from prints, the Sharp MX-3100N colour laser printer also delivers good quality scans, faxes, and copies. Optional finishers are available. The Sharp MX-3100N all-in-one colour laser MFP only offers Ethernet for networking.
Design
The compact Sharp MX-3100N digital full-colour multifunctional system can handle more than 5,000 sheets at a time. On top is an automatic document feeder with a flatbed scanner. The organised control panel is easy to use and consists of a touch screen display and function buttons. Print and copy speed is 31 ppm, and continuous copying can be done for up to 999 pages. Aside from Ethernet, USB interface is also available. The Sharp MX-3100N toner cartridge yields are 18,000 pages for black and 15,000 pages for the cyan, magenta and yellow cartridges.
Advantages
The Sharp MX-3100N colour MFP is a reliable unit that delivers good quality prints and copies at fast speeds. Fax and scans are also quick. This user-friendly unit features a touch screen panel plus a retractable keyboard. The MX3100N digital copier also has a duplexer and an ADF. Workgroups can easily share the Sharp MX-3100N colour copier as it has Ethernet and it comes with user authentication for up to 200 people.
Disadvantages
This photocopier is quite large and can take up a lot of space, especially with the finishers. The Sharp MX-3100N laser printer only offers internet fax.
