Design

To ensure that this printer maintains high productivity levels throughout the day, it has a 1 GHz processor and 1.5 GB of RAM. Using these elements, the 3345VDNi Xerox laser printer can reach speeds of up to 35 ppm, and when combined with a 250-sheet input tray, downtime is rare. The enhanced image resolution is 1200 x 1200 dpi, while the standard resolution is 600 x 600 dpi. In terms of media, it will support paper ranging from 5.6 x 5.8 inches to 8.5 x 14 inches. The monthly duty cycle is 50,000 pages.

Advantages

To save on energy consumption, the Xerox 3345VDNi all-in-one model can remain in a powered-down mode that uses very little electricity. However, even from this state, it can start up within 35 seconds, so downtime is always minimal. When staff are busy with many different print runs, they can use one of the many finishing options available to increase efficiency. This unit will produce booklets, fit information to a page, print duplex copies and much more. Connectivity is available through wireless, but staff can also access Apple Air and Google Cloud services to share documents.

Disadvantages

The monochrome Xerox 3345VDNi laserjet model does not produce colour prints, which may be an issue in offices that need a more flexible printing solution.
