Design

The dimensions of the Xerox 700 toner printer are 1372mm (height) x 1714mm (width) x 777mm (depth), and it weighs 306kg. The standard paper input tray capacity is 1,900 sheets, expandable to a maximum paper capacity of 5,900 sheets. It comes with six input trays – four standard input trays with a capacity of 550 sheets each, a bypass tray with a capacity of 250 sheets, a standard duplex automatic document feeder with a capacity of 250 sheets and an optional high-capacity feeder with a capacity of 2,000 sheets. Additional capacity is available with an oversized high-capacity feeder with one or two trays with a capacity of 2,000 sheets each. Other input devices include an integrated scanner and a foreign interface kit that allows for the connection of external devices, including coin-op devices or auditrons. The output tray has a capacity of 500 sheets, with an optional high-capacity stacker that can handle up to 5,000 sheets.

Advantages

The Xerox 700 colour printer has a print speed of 70 pages per minute, with a print and copy resolution of 2400 x 2400 dpi. The recommended monthly print usage is 75,000 pages, although the maximum monthly duty cycle is 300,000 pages.

Disadvantages

Xerox has discontinued the production of the Xerox 700 printer, which could potentially cause issues with maintenance or replacement parts.
