With the Xerox Phaser 6500, users can expect high-quality black and white documents as well as coloured graphics. The Phaser 6500 colour laser printer has a monthly duty cycle of 40,000 pages, making it ideal for small to medium sized offices. It also has standard Ethernet for easy workgroup sharing. The Xerox 6500 laser printer has an optional duplexer. Replacement toners are pricey.
Design
With dimensions of 15.9 x 16.75 x 16.4 inches, the Xerox Phaser 6500 is a bit large for small spaces. It has a standard paper capacity of 250 sheets (expandable to 500 sheets). The control panel is easy to use and also features a monochrome LCD display. Print resolution is 600 x 600 dpi and the Phaser 6500 can print as fast as 24 ppm for both black and white and coloured print jobs.
Advantages
The Xerox Phaser 6500 colour printer is fairly fast and features Ethernet connectivity. It delivers high-quality prints and is very reliable and durable. Paper handling capacity is large to meet demands of offices with heavy requirements. More importantly, the Phaser 6500 is easy to use and setup.
Disadvantages
The Xerox Phaser 6500 could have been better if the duplexer was standard and if it had built-in Wi-Fi. Because it produces excellent-quality, toners for the Xerox Phaser 6500 printer tend to be pricey.
