This colour printer is an affordable machine that is perfect for home and small business use. It has a print resolution of up to 1200 x 2400 dpi, so offers high-quality results suitable for professional environments.
Design
The Xerox Phaser 6510 printer features a 733MHz processor and has a variety of print features, including Draft Mode, Booklet Print, Saved Print and Watermarks. The unit has been designed to fit onto a small desk, measuring 34.7cm x 42cm x 49.9cm. There is one paper tray included, but you can opt for a second tray if needed, enabling the printer to hold a total of 800 sheets. It can handle a range of paper sizes and paper types.
Advantages
The Xerox 6510 can handle colour printing at up to 28 pages per minute and has a series of security features as standard, including IP filtering and Secure Print. Mobile printing platforms, including Google Cloud Print and AirPrint, are supported by the Xerox Phaser 6510. Additional mobile support is enabled by Wi-Fi Direct, which allows remote workers to send work to the printer.
Disadvantages
The Xerox Phaser 6510 does not offer duplex printing, so it is not as environmentally friendly as other models in the Phaser range. The time for first page printing is up to 12 seconds, which is a little longer than comparable models. It weighs nearly 24kg, making it too heavy for some to move on their own, so it needs a permanent location.
