The Xerox Phaser 6600N is a single function colour laser printer that works well for most small businesses. It prints quickly and efficiently in colour or black. Special features like advanced image options, including colour calibration and watermarks, set it apart from other printers. It would be great to see this printer increase the resolution for even clearer image quality. This version of the Xerox Phaser 6600 series does not include two-sided printing, which would save both paper and money. This feature is offered in other Xerox Phaser 6600 printer versions.
Design
The multipurpose tray holds up to 150 sheets of paper and both additional trays hold up to 550 sheets of paper each. The Xerox Phaser 6600N will fit in almost any office as it measures 430 x 488 x 384 mm and weighs 25.5 kg. The cube design would also fit the design of most offices. A dark blue wave pattern appears on a primarily white body.
Advantages
The Xerox Phaser 6600N can print on various media ranging from hole punched paper to glossy cardstock. It prints with relative speed at up to 35 ppm on A4 paper. Print resolution is up to 1200 x 1200 dpi with enhanced image quality. This printer warms up more quickly from power-saving mode and prints the first page faster than many printers. Advanced features like settings for photos, colour calibration, watermarks, and eco-conscious aspects make this a specialized and efficient printer. It also offers an impressive 80,000 images per month duty cycle.
Disadvantages
The Xerox 6600N printer does not allow printing on both sides of the page. Two-sided printing would make this machine more cost efficient and friendly to the environment by saving paper. While this printer includes network connectivity, it does not include wireless connectivity, although it is available as an option on other versions of the Phaser 6600.
