The Xerox Phaser 7800VDN is an A3 colour LED printer that is designed for professional-grade graphic arts. The LED print engine uses technology that helps save energy and the printer in general operates with minimal noise. It focuses on fast printing and a superior duty cycle, for an all-around, excellent machine. It features an intuitive and attractive touch display screen for ease of user input. The disadvantage that you might consider is that this printer doesn’t include any additional paper trays or feeders.
Design
The Xerox Phaser 7800VDN features an intuitive colour touch display. The colour scheme is white around the sides, with blue on the top corner and paper output area. The paper output area has an elevated paper catcher to allow professional print jobs with high-density ink content to dry easily. The tray at the front holds plenty of paper.
Advantages
The Xerox Phaser 7800VDN prints at a high speed of up to 45 ppm in colour and black. The excellent duty cycle is up to 225,000 pages per month. Wireless connectivity and mobile printing add convenience. Automatic, double-sided printing makes this printer cost-efficient and eco-friendly, since this feature saves money and paper. Maximum print resolution is 2400 x 1200 with enhanced image quality. Photo-grade mode prints at around 600 x 600 dpi. The first print can be produced in as few as 9 seconds. It comes with two standard paper trays, but offers a multitude of optional additional finishers.
Disadvantages
Unfortunately, the Xerox 7800VDN doesn’t include additional paper trays or finishing options as standard, but these can be added as required. This printer focuses on high resolution, fast printing and a high duty cycle rather than high-quantity paper handling.
