The Xerox VersaLink B405 is a multifunction printer that works just as efficiently as a copier and scanner. Its advanced design and impressive performance take workgroup productivity to new levels, and it can be operated from any networked device. Setup is straightforward and uses a series of installation wizards to guide the operator through the process, so that the Xerox VersaLink B405 is up and running in no time at all. Paper path technology ensures reliable performance at all times, and once setup, the machine can be left to get on with the task.
Design
VersaLink multifunction printers use Xerox technologies that are designed to not only optimise workflows, but also speed up sharing of information. The Xerox VersaLink B405 also has built-in OCR, so that scanned documents can be processed in a variety of ways. The one fixed and three optional paper trays can hold up to 2,350 sheets of varying media. Featuring a monthly duty cycle of 110,000 pages, all scan, print, and copy functionality is controlled from the adjustable LCD touchscreen mounted on the top of the machine, which uses an intuitive arrangement of icons arranged in groups. Wizards help guide the user through different tasks, so even a complete novice can master the options in a brief length of time. With a print speed of 47 ppm and its massive duty cycle, the Xerox B405 can rip through huge print jobs with ease, while it is automatically controlled from remote smart devices. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi and ethernet, as well as a USB 2.0 port.
