Designed to be used right out of the box, and with loads of time-saving and productivity-boosting features, the Xerox VersaLink B7035 is the perfect mono MFP for small to medium-sized workplaces where speed, productivity and quality are of equal importance. The printer also features Xerox’s unique ConnectKey program, which helps with connectivity, allowing users to set up easily and quickly so that printing can be done right from your smartphone, tablet or other mobile devices.
Design
There are a number of finishing options available in the Xerox VersaLink B7000 range, which means that the final dimensions and weight are going to vary according to your needs and preferences. There is a base configuration weight of 51.3 kg and dimensions of 590 x 670.8 x 767.9 mm. The MFP comes in a discreet colourway of off-white and petrol blue, while the 7 inch colour touchscreen control panel allows great ease of use. Designed to work like a smartphone or tablet, the interface is highly intuitive and will feel familiar to anyone used to mobile devices.
Advantages
There are many advantages to the Xerox VersaLink B7035. It has a print speed of 35 ppm, a monthly duty cycle of 153,000 pages, a recommended print volume of 17,000 pages, a first print speed of 9.1 seconds and a first copy speed of 5.4 seconds. When it comes to quality and results, it offers a print resolution of 1200 x 1200 dpi and a copy resolution of 600 x 600 dpi. The ConnectKey technology allows for greater connectivity than ever, with Ethernet, USB and wireless connectivity, and printing from tablets and mobile phones via the use of a wide variety of platforms, including Dropbox, Box, OneDrive, Google Cloud Print and Mopria.
Disadvantages
The Xerox B7035 is probably unsuitable for smaller offices due to its large dimensions and footprint.
