The Xerox VersaLink C7000N uses Xerox 106R0375 toner cartridges. Xerox 106R0375 toner comes in black and multicolour; the black cartridge prints 10,700 pages, the multicolour cartridge prints 10,100 pages.
The Xerox VersaLink C7000N is part of Xerox’s VersaLink line of printers that have been designed especially for smaller and mid-sized offices, businesses and workgroups. Xerox knows that even though space may be at a premium in smaller organisations, the same priorities of speed, productivity, connectivity and versatility remain. The Xerox C7000N offers users high-quality prints every time that are produced at a rate of 35ppm in both colour and black and white. This printer also has a 520-sheet input tray and a monthly duty cycle of up to 153,000 pages, with a print resolution of 1,200 x 2,400dpi.
The Xerox VersaLink C7000N measures approximately 590x670.8x637mm and weighs roughly 54.3kg. The printer has a white and petrol-blue colour scheme that is typical of many Xerox printers, and it is subtle enough to fit in at any office, regardless of décor and design choices. The most important design feature when it comes to the Xerox VersaLink C7000N is the 5-inch LCD colour touchscreen, which is used as both a display screen and control panel and works in a very similar way to most smartphones and tablets.
There are a great many advantages to this printer model, not least of which are its excellent connectivity features. With its unique ConnectKey technology, Xerox has created an interface which doesn’t just help users navigate their printer, but becomes a “smart workplace assistant,” ensuring that workflow is streamlined, security is ensured, and jobs can be printed straight from the cloud. The Xerox VersaLink C7000N also offers network, USB, and NFC connectivity, but for the modern workplace, being able to print straight from a laptop, smartphone or tablet is paramount. This model also has a 1.05GHz processor, 2GB of memory and is compatible with Windows and Mac OS.
There aren’t very many disadvantages to the Xerox C7000N, although some smaller organisations will almost certainly feel as though the price point is a little out of reach.
