The Xerox WorkCentre 5945 combines the functions of a printer, scanner and photocopier into one handy, compact unit. It has a sleek design that will complement any office workspace and provide for all the workgroup’s printing and scanning needs. It also has email technology built in, as well as optional functionality such as an RFID card reader. The unit’s diverse array of functions is controlled via a clear LCD screen, and it also has a remote control pack.
Design
With dimensions of 33.5 x 26.2 x 45.3 inches and weighing 249 lbs, the Xerox WorkCentre 5945 is a lightweight unit that is small enough to fit into any suitable space in a busy office environment. With a print speed of 45ppm and a maximum copy resolution of 600x600 dpi, this is more than enough processing power for even the most hard-pressed team. The unit is controlled manually from a control panel on the top-front surface, with a clear LCD screen and a series of buttons and icons for controlling the workflow. It uses Ethernet and USB 2 connections for external media, and the Dual-core processor has 2GB memory.
Advantages
The Xerox WorkCentre 5945 has the comprehensive scanning, emailing, faxing, printing and copying capabilities demanded by today’s office environment. Disadvantages
