Xerox WorkCentre 7765 Printer Review

Expert review of the Xerox WorkCentre 7765 printer

Our Verdict:
star
star-filled

The Xerox WorkCentre 7765 printer is a fast device that is easy to use. It has a colour touchscreen interface providing direct and easy access to all major functions. Producing superior-quality prints with clear colour and enhanced gloss modes, the EFI Fiery colour print server option delivers colour-matching tools and simple-to-use workflows. It's easy to install, even on multiple units due to the ability of network administrators to clone the settings of one device onto another. The Xerox Extensible Interface Platform (EIP) facilitates document software apps to be accessed on the interface, thereby improving workflows and lessening the time spent at the machine.

Design

The Xerox WorkCentre 7765 has dimensions of 61.8 x 31 x 57.5 inches, and it weighs 612.88lbs. It has a paper capacity of up to 5,260 sheets, and the standard duplexing automatic document feeder (DADF) holds up to 250 sheets.

Advantages

The Xerox WorkCentre 7765 has a walk-up fax that is available in both one-line and two-line options for added flexibility. The Xerox SMARTsend scan-capture and distribution software facility has a raft of extra features. And the Smart Kit components can be easily replaced by users, lessening downtime and increasing productivity. Additionally, the machine enables personalised, business-specific applications that are simple to access via the touchscreen. Xerox CentreWare Web enables IT administrators to configure, manage, monitor and report on MFPs across the network, whether they are Xerox, or another make of printer. The Think-Green print driver setting ensures that it’s simple to choose the most environmentally conscious print settings.

Disadvantages

The Xerox WorkCentre 7765 is an adaptable, flexible and effective multifunction device, but it is no longer in production, so it would have to be upgraded if more up-to-date functions are required by organisations.
