The entry-level Brother DCP-L2500D mono laser all-in-one printer is ideal for SOHO-users. This-user-friendly unit can save resources and time with its excellent features. Thanks to its small size, the all-in-one Brother DCP L2500D monochrome multifunction laser printer can save a lot of space on desktops, too. Aside from printing, the Brother DCP-L2500D black and white multifunction printer can also scan and copy. Connectivity is limited to a USB port, but the DCPL2500D laser printer can support air printing and cloud printing.
Design
The compact Brother DCP-L2500D black and white laser MFP has a flatbed scanner on top along with a control panel with LCD display and function buttons. This unit is integrated with an automatic duplexer for double-sided printing and has a standard memory of 32MB. For paper handling, the Brother DCPL2500D printer has a manual feed slot and a standard paper tray with a capacity of 250 sheets. The high capacity Brother TN-2320 black cartridge extends the maximum print yield from a single cartridge to 2,600 pages.
Advantages
The first print from the Brother DCP-L2500D all-in-one can take 8.5 seconds or less and it has a standard print speed of 26ppm on simplex and 13ipm for duplex. The maximum print resolution of the Brother DCP-L2500D monochrome laser printer is 2400 x 600 dpi while interpolated scan resolution is 19200dpi. Optional high capacity DCP-L2500D toner cartridges are available to cut back on running costs while the standard duplexer can reduce paper waste by 50%. Thanks to the high paper handling capacity, the Brother DCP-L2500D printer can increase uptime.
Disadvantages
The Brother DCP-L2500D MFP may support cloud printing but it doesn't offer Wi-Fi for easy sharing among multiple users or mobile printing. Optional paper trays aren't available and the DCP-L2500D mono MFP doesn’t have the convenience of an automatic document feeder. The basic Brother DCP-L2500D mono multifunction printer doesn’t offer convenient direct printing or scanning functions through a USB host.
