For fast, high-resolution printing, go for the Oki C831 colour laser printer. This device is an excellent choice for workgroups and small businesses geared towards graphics and photo printing. It offers faster print speeds in both monochrome and colour, and it can handle a wide variety of media for different print applications. The Oki C831 colour LED printer uses ProQ2400 multi-level print technology, which produces high-resolution prints. It can also be used over a shared network, but the C831 only offers single functionality and does not support duplex printing.
Design
The Oki C831 printer is smartly designed, featuring a high-capacity paper cassette and flexible paper handling options, along with a simple, yet very intuitive control panel, just beneath the output bin. The C-831 A3 colour printer is not as robust as many other laser printers, measuring only 78x75x55 cm. It is built for medium duty work, able to print up to 5,000 pages per month and it has dual connectivity options, including a USB and an Ethernet interface for network setup.
Advantages
Flexible media handling is a definite plus for the Oki C831 A3 colour LED printer. It can handle paper sizes from A6 to A3, along with banners up to 1321 mm in length. The Oki C831 colour laser printer offers high print resolutions up to 1200x600 dpi and print quality is consistent, whatever type of document is processed. The Oki C831 is suitable for daily printing needs, offering improved productivity, thanks to its 35 ppm print rate. All of its four Oki C831 toner cartridges have a capacity of 10,000 pages to maximise productivity and minimise the cost of consumables for the printer.
Disadvantages
On the other hand, the Oki C831 laser printer can only do colour printing and is not equipped for automatic duplexing, which is available only as an upgrade.
