The Samsung SCX-3400 printer addresses the lack of speed of the multifunction models before it. It boasts speedy copy and print rates up to 21 ppm, while offering a wide range of copy, print and scan features. The Samsung SCX-3400 MFP can produce multiple copies in a single run and it offers colour scanning despite being a monochrome unit. However, its effort to increase speed and productivity is still not enough to compete with speedier models, but the SCX3400 mono laser printer still is a good investment for workgroups in need of a compact all-in-one that produces top quality prints.
Design
Compact and easy to use, the Samsung SCX-3400 features a simple, box-type design with easy to load paper trays, a flat bed scanner, and a simple control panel with easy to understand buttons and diagrams. The Samsung SCX-3400 only offers manual duplexing, but it has a high-resolution print engine that can print up to 1200x1200 dpi. This machine uses a black Samsung SCX3400 laser toner with a capacity of approximately 1,500 pages.
Advantages
The Samsung SCX-3400 mono multifunction printer boasts its one touch print screen function and colour scanning capabilities, though the scanner can only produce a maximum of 600x600 dpi. The black and white Samsung SCX3400 laser printer works at a standard rate of 21 ppm and it offers manual duplexing, in addition to other features like copy reduction and enlargement.
Disadvantages
