Your printer warranty is safe
Some people whose printers are less than a year old worry that an own-brand cartridge might invalidate the manufacturer’s warranty. This isn’t true. By law, manufacturers aren’t allowed to invalidate your warranty if you use own-brand cartridges. If something does go wrong and our own-brand cartridges are to blame, we’ll take over the manufacturer’s warranty, offer you phone support and repair or replace your printer if needed.

Finally made the decision to start using compatible as opposed to genuine cartridges. So far so good (saving a fortune) and I have no doubt that, if I have any problems with any of the cartridges, things will be dealt with in a more than satisfactory manner. Highly recommend for use with an OKI MC861.
