A sibling of the DCP-150C, the Brother DCP-153C is a good multifunction photo printer that guarantees high-quality output and superb direct-printing capabilities that help users save time and effort. The DCP-153C printer closely resembles its predecessor in terms of appearance and specifications, but Brother failed to improve the scan quality and the print speeds.
Design
The Brother DCP153C inkjet multifunction printer is fairly compact and boasts additional direct printing convenience through the memory card slots near the PictBridge port. The DCP-153C uses thermal inkjet technology, requires 4 individual ink cartridges, and connects to a PC via USB 2.0. The input tray's capacity is up to 100 sheets while the output can take up to 50 sheets at a time. The high print resolution of 6000x1200dpi ensures vivid images and clear text printouts. The Brother DCP-153C all-in-one is integrated with a flatbed copier and scanner on top, right above the control panel with a small display screen.
Advantages
This multifunction device is an average performer for a home office and is mostly notable for its affordable initial cost and excellent picture quality. The Brother DCP-153C colour printer is easy-to-use and can function as a standalone copier. Direct-printing is another plus, as the Brother DCP-153C supports PictBridge and memory cards.
