With dye-based inks, the Canon Pixma Pro 9000 Mark II ensures highly vibrant colours applicable to different types of media. It is fast and excellent for photo printing, but Canon may need to improve on paper handling and make it smaller for a desktop.
Design
This big printer is designed for high resolution printing of photographs at resolutions of up to 4800x2400 dpi. It is integrated with the 8-colour individual ink cartridge system with ChromaLife100 technology, so output is fade-proof for at least 100 years. The Canon Pixma Pro 9000 Mark II has more flexible paper feeding, which is possible in both the rear and front part of the printer. The Pixma Pro 9000 Mark II printer can be connected to the PC via high-speed USB 2.0 cable, which is not included in the package.
Advantages
PictBridge lets users print directly from a compatible digital camera or camcorder, and there are features such as borderless printing, ambient light correction, and auto photo fix on the Canon Pixma Pro 9000 Mark II. The printer's output tray capacity is quite generous at 150 sheets, and overall operation is fairly quiet in best quality mode, at only 42.5 dBA.
