Your printer warranty is safe
Some people whose printers are less than a year old worry that an own-brand cartridge might invalidate the manufacturer’s warranty. This isn’t true. By law, manufacturers aren’t allowed to invalidate your warranty if you use own-brand cartridges. If something does go wrong and our own-brand cartridges are to blame, we’ll take over the manufacturer’s warranty, offer you phone support and repair or replace your printer if needed.

I received this cartridge as a replacement for one that worked for a short while and then stopped working. When I inserted this new cartridge the printer accepted it even though the cartridge failed to 'light up'. I'll keep you posted on this cartridge and the ones I still have to insert from my original purchase.
