Design
A dye-sublimation thermal transfer printing system is used by the ultra compact Selphy CP1200 colour inkjet printer. The Selphy CP1200 wireless compact photo printer has a 2.7" colour TFT viewer and optional high capacity battery pack. The Canon CP1200 Selphy ink ribbon cartridge and paper kits can print either postcard size photos, credit card size photos, square stickers or mini stickers.
Advantages
The original Canon Selphy CP1200 ink cassettes apply a protective coating to photos to guard against spills, fingerprint marks and fading, for up to 100 years. The wireless connection is fast and mobile friendly so you can print photos on the go with the Canon CP-1200 Wi-Fi printer. Not only does the Selphy CP1200 have instant wireless printing, it’s also compatible with SD cards and can print from a USB stick.The genuine Canon Selphy CP1200 photo packs contain both ink and paper, specifically designed to make the printing of high resolution photos more convenient.
Disadvantages
Canon don’t manufacture separate ink cassettes for the Selphy CP1200 printer so some users complain that the ink runs out before the photo paper, leaving a surplus of paper after using their Canon CP1200 ink and paper kit.
