The Epson XP-6005 is an A4 multifunction colour printer with a copier and scanner incorporated into the unit. With a compact footprint and low price tag, this is affordable for a domestic setting and can also be useful in a small office. With Wi-Fi connection and mobile apps, printing from multiple devices is easy and the quality of both documents and images is very high, making it ideal for holiday photos. However, during busy periods this printer may not be the most efficient due to the low paper capacity and slow printing speeds. Additionally, there is no fax function, which may be a drawback in an office.
Design
The dimensions of the Epson Expression Premium XP-6005 are 34.9 x 34 x 14.2 cm and it comes in a stylish white design. On the top of the printer is a control panel including a key pad with a 6.1 cm LCD screen. Connection is achieved from a USB or Wi-Fi and there is also a card slot for quick photo printing. Printing speeds are 11 ppm in colour and 15 ppm in monochrome. Print resolution is 5760 x 1440 dpi. A single paper tray has the capacity to hold 100 sheets.
Advantages
Using five ink cartridges including photo black, the Epson XP-6005 produces good quality, smudge-free text and vibrant photographs. A memory card slot allows photos to be printed directly. The small size of this device allows it to fit easily on a desktop or in a limited space. Duplex printing reduces paper wastage. Disadvantages
