Built for affordable, everyday printing, the HP Deskjet 1010 printer is the perfect choice for households and even for small office users in need of a compact printer that will fit even small desktops. It's a straightforward inkjet printer that offers convenient set-up and seamless document printing. The HP Deskjet 1010 inkjet printer offers great value for money, as it uses high-capacity cartridges, ideal for high-volume printing. On the other hand, it doesn't support multifunction features and can only print double-sided documents manually.

Design

Measuring only about 16.65x18.54x5 inches, the HP Deskjet 1010 colour printer is an excellent space-saving unit for home users in need of a reliable everyday printer. It has eco-friendly features and it offers fast USB connectivity for fast data processing. The HP Deskjet 1010 is a single-function device that offers superior reliability, thanks to its powerful print engine. It has a rear feed tray that easily collapses when not in use and utilises a tri-colour ink cartridge for quick ink replacement.

Advantages

Fast print speeds are among the main draws of the HP 1010 printer. It can produce up to 20 pages per minute in black and white, and up to 16 ppm in colour. Laser-comparable quality prints come out at decent rates of 7 ppm in black and white and 4 ppm in black and white. The Deskjet 1010 colour inkjet printer has a maximum print resolution of up to 600x600 dpi, and it uses HP Thermal Inkjet print technology to ensures consistent print quality. Ink costs can be reduced by using the HP 301XL high capacity black and colour cartridges in the Deskjet 1010 colour printer.

Disadvantages

However, the HP 1010 Deskjet printer only supports a single function, and it uses tri-colour ink cartridges, which are generally more expensive and wasteful than single-colour cartridges.
