The HP Officejet 4652 All-in-One uses HP 302 ink cartridges. HP 302 ink comes in multipack; the multipack cartridge prints 150 pages.
The HP OfficeJet 4652 is an office-centric multifunction printer, ideal for light duty use. It offers printing, scanning, copying and faxing in a compact all-in-one unit. The manufacturer claims print speeds of up to 20 ppm at a resolution of 4800 x 1200 dpi. Copy resolution is 600 x 300 dpi. A range of mobile and cloud functions make for easy printing from smartphones and tablets.
The HP OfficeJet 4652 measures 19 x 44.5 x 36.8cm, weighs in at 6.5kg and has a jet-black finish. There is a small digital display housed on the front and middle section of the unit, which provides easy inputs and a range of options. It has a 100-sheet paper capacity and support for Wi-Fi, but there is no Ethernet. There are two fax ports and a USB port located at the rear.
Tests show the HP 4652 to be incredibly fast at printing photos, and the quality is consistently high. It is possible to print from a range of websites, including a curated selection of popular business choices, via the touchscreen print menu. The Wi-Fi connection makes it possible for iOS, Android, Windows, Google Chrome, Amazon Kindle and Blackberry smartphones and tablets to print directly through an access point on your network. The automatic duplexer and automatic document feeder are impressive in a device of this calibre. Fax capability is a welcome addition and users can scan multipage documents.
While photo performance is impressive, basic prints come in at a rather lacklustre 1.4 pages every minute, which is slower than other similarly priced alternatives to the HP OfficeJet 4652. The lack of Ethernet may also be a problem for users requiring the fastest connections. Text definition is generally below par and performance for business applications can be slow.
