Your printer warranty is safe
Some people whose printers are less than a year old worry that an own-brand cartridge might invalidate the manufacturer’s warranty. This isn’t true. By law, manufacturers aren’t allowed to invalidate your warranty if you use own-brand cartridges. The instructions weren’t clear and I removed the wrong strip of tape thus wrecking one of the cartridges. So I used the good one with a cartridge that was running low, and the printer wouldn’t take to it. Followed all HP instructions to fix the error message but it was having none of it. Why can’t instructions be written in English? It’s so frustrating trying to work what needs to be done looking at a picture with loads of arrows. The printer and these cartridges are heading for the local dump. Printer is only a year old too.
