The HP OfficeJet 4655 is an all-in-one printer designed for home and work use, with built-in faxing and automatic document feeder features. It has a colour print quality of up to 4800 x 1200 for exceptionally sharp images and a 1200 x 1200 rendered dpi black quality. HP OfficeJet 4655 ink is available in standard and high capacity options for greater flexibility.
Design
The HP OfficeJet 4654 measures 19.8 x 56.4 x 44.4cm and weighs in at 14.4kg. It has a three-section design with an input tray at the top, a midsection with an LCD display and on and off switch, and a lower output tray. The black finish helps it to blend in with a range of decor types. There are three connection types - wireless, USB 2.0 and Airprint.
Advantages
The All-in-One Printer Remote app from HP enables users to print and scan documents on the go with one touch on a mobile device. The 4800 x 1200 colour and 1200 x 1200 black maximum resolutions both impress, providing clear and vibrant images. The 4654 uses original high-yield cartridges, which saves ink and can double output of pages and photos per cartridge. An automatic document feed tray makes it easy to multitask printing and copy demands, and there is built-in faxing, which is not always included in entry-level inkjets.
Disadvantages
The HP OfficeJet 4654 can be quite slow when printing graphics and copying material and it does not compare favourably with other inkjets in terms of cost per pages. It can also take some time to warm up when switched on. The recommended print volume of up to 400 prints means it is unlikely to suit medium and large office environments with heavy workloads.
