The perfect companion on vacations, reunions, and even at home, the HP Photosmart 325 makes photo printing a breeze with its easy to use configuration, compact design, and portable size. This photo printer can produce 4x6 inch colour pictures quickly and at high resolutions of up to 4800 optimized dpi. It also supports PictBridge cameras and has memory card and well as USB slots. The HP Photosmart 325 is suitable for on-the-spot printing, although quality wise, there are better photo printers in the market.
Design
The HP Photosmart 325 is a petite printer with a simple layout; pictures shoot out right in front, and card slots and device ports are neatly lined up just above the slot where printed photos come out. There is a control panel on top of the device, at the centre of which is a 1.5 inch colour display for viewing and selecting photos.
Advantages
The HP Photosmart 325 is a very portable device, weighing less than 3 pounds. It also comes with the HP Image Zone Software, which allows you to edit and fix pictures easily. The HP Photosmart 325 also has an optional rechargeable internal battery for printing on the go. Pictures come out in less than a minute.
Disadvantages
Despite its great features and compact design, the HP Photosmart 325 is still inferior to other dedicated photo printers when it comes to print quality. It uses a single ink cartridge which only contains cyan, magenta, and yellow, combining the three colours to produce a composite black, which tends to be a dark greyish shade at best. But overall, it is a good photo printing device for quick, on-the-spot use.
