Expert review of the Brother DCP-L3510CDW printer
The Brother DCP-L3510CDW printer model is a full-featured printer that also supports copying and scanning, but does not include an automatic document feeder. This line of printers makes use of LED array technology to perform in the same way as laser printers. It is capable of producing high resolution colour prints and includes an automatic duplexer for two-sided printing. Intended for small offices that have minimal printing requirements, this multifunction printer is designed to be both sleek and modern-looking. It will fit easily on the corner of a desk.
Design
This multifunction device features a 2-line LCD display for printer management. The Brother DCP-L3510CDW all-in-one printer measures 410 x 368 x 475mm and weighs 21.7kg. Intended for use in smaller offices, it is relatively lightweight and is easy to place on a centrally located desk for all to use. With a first copy out time of approximately 17.5 seconds, it is a relatively quick printer. It is equipped with wireless and USB connectivity as standard, but it does not include an Ethernet connection.
Advantages
Able to print and copy up to 19 ppm in both monochrome and colour, this device can also scan in up to 48-bit colour. The DCP-L3510CDW Brother duplex printer has a maximum printing resolution of 2400 x 600 dpi and produces clear, high-quality prints. It has a standard paper capacity of 250 sheets and a single-sheet manual feed slot that can be used for envelopes and specialty papers.
Disadvantages
As it does not have any faxing capability, the wireless Brother DCP-L3510CDW printer model may not be the best option for all situations. Also, it does not allow for printing envelopes except from the manual feed slot, one at a time. If you have a large monthly print volume, then this may not be the best solution to meet your requirements.
