Hewlett Packard intends the HP Colour LaserJet 3600n as a heavy-duty, high-quality printing station for small offices and demanding home users. And there is little question that the 3600n is a well-designed and attractive device that boasts low-cost consumables, such as the premium HP 3600n toner cartridges. The reason why the 3600n isn't more popular is that at this price range, most consumers are looking at multifunction devices. The 3600n, on the other hand, only prints and only manages to do so at about 14 pages per minute.
Design
For the 3600n, Hewlett Packard uses a distinct design with a significantly curved face. The basic design of curvature with door access is becoming more prevalent because it makes changing the HP 3600n toner cartridge much easier. The 3600n uses a two-tone colour scheme: business white in the front and a deep, dark grey in the back. It has a nice, fully functional control panel with a premium LCD display, and the Ethernet and USB ports are easily accessible. The only real issue with the design is that they went with hard corners rather than the rounded corners that most devices use these days.
Advantages
The biggest advantage to the HP 3600n is the curved face, the door and the internal design. You simply won't find many laser printers that are better configured than this one is.
