Scanning is done using a CCD scan element that scans in a resolution of 1,200 by 1,200 dpi. The fax machine on the HP CM2320fxi is able to transmit faxes at a transmission rate of 33.6 Kbps and features fax forwarding, dual-line capability, automatic redialing, and a junk fax barrier.
