Design
The Kyocera TASKalfa 8001i is a free-standing unit with a rugged and understated frame that weighs 155kg and measures 1,053mm tall, 723mm deep, and 685mm wide without the duplexer and operator panel. The control panel is distinctive as it extends from the side and boasts a colour touch panel for easy operation. The printer has a 600x600dpi engine that uses Kyocera's laser monochrome technology and HyPAS solution platform. There are 3,072MB of RAM, a 320GB hard disk drive, and a processing speed of 1,067GHz. Standard paper handling is 3,000 sheets from the two 1,500-sheet high-capacity decks, 1,000 sheets from two 500-sheet universal paper cassettes, 270 sheets from the document processor, and 150 sheets from the multipurpose tray.
Advantages
It can print in speeds of up to 80ppm and produce crisp, sharp monochrome text. Built-in storage makes it easier to reproduce jobs and certain documents.
