As with the yellow cartridge, I wouldn't use anything else. More expensive than the compatible but worth it for the reliability. Must confess I haven't used a compatible with this printer, but unwilling to risk it as previous printer had to be 'written off' because of compatible cartridges. Cartridgesave gave the best price of three quotes and was excellent on delivery.

I only use genuine cartridges and our printers have lasted well, the installation was easy. CartridgeSave always seem to come out cheapest compared to the other two providers that I generally compare them with, the delivery is extremely prompt and I like the pen that comes with it. Incidentally I learnt it was a mistake to cheapen up on cartridges when I tried to do this with an older printer which initially the cartridges lasted no time at all, and then blocked up completely. The printers I have now are well past their guarantee period and are still going strong (touch wood!!!).

We all know there are some dodgy sites out there claiming geniune cartridges etc and I am sure, like me the reluctance to order from an unknown supplier is huge. Well I bit the bullet because the savings were so phenominal and now I cannot recommend this company enough. These are genuine cartridges, they authenicate on the printer no trouble at all and the cost difference is staggering. Thank you cartridgesave.co.uk
