The HP Officejet 4622 e-All-in-One is an efficient all-in-one device for a small office looking for lower running costs and Wi-Fi connectivity as standard features. Designed with ePrinting in mind, the HP Officejet 4622 wireless all-in-one allows users to print from a tablet PC or smartphone. However, the Officejet 4622 multifunction printer does lacks some important features.
Design
The HP Officejet 4622 e-All-in-One resembles its siblings from the 4620 all-in-one line with the sleek, matte frame that measures 8.1 inches tall, 14 inches deep, and 17.7 inches wide. It weighs 6.2Kg and runs on 32MB of SDRAM. Like its predecessors, the Officejet 4622 e-All-in-One stands has an ADF and a flatbed scanner. The small control panel features a 2-inch monochrome LCD screen. Four cartridges must be installed into the HP 4622 Officejet printer at any given time and this device can use either the standard capacity HP 364 inks or the high capacity HP 364XL inkjet cartridges depending on how many pages the user intends to print.
Advantages
Both Airprint and HP ePrint are supported by the mobile printing functions of the HP Officejet 4622 e-All-in-One, and when direct PC connection is required, there is USB 2.0 as a standard port. A 35-sheet automatic document feeder helps users save time. The Officejet 4622 e-All-in-One inkjet printer is easy to set-up and prints speeds for the HP 4622 e-All-in-One colour printer are notably faster than the competition. The fax machine can store up to 99 speed dials while the scanner can produce high-resolution 1200dpi images.
Disadvantages
The HP Officejet 4622 e-All-in-One multifunction printer lacks Ethernet connectivity and a duplexer. There are no options to increase the limited 80-sheet input tray and the output tray can only handle up to 20 sheets at a time, making the HP Officejet 4622 multifunction printer inefficient for bulk printing. The HP 4622 wireless printer is notably noisy, too.
