The HP Photosmart 6525 e-All-in-One uses HP 364 / 364XL ink cartridges. HP 364 / 364XL ink comes in black and multicolour; the black cartridge prints 550 pages, the multicolour cartridge prints 300 pages.
Featuring wireless connectivity and app access, the HP PhotoSmart 6525 All-In-One is a great printer for offices or homes in which printing will be required at frequent intervals. While not the most compact printer around, it would comfortably fit atop just about any desk and carries out print jobs with speed, efficiency and great quality. The HP PhotoSmart 6525 boasts automatic double-sided printing and image processing, making it great for home and office use.
Measuring in at 152.4 x 431.8 x 381 mm and weighing 5.6kg, the HP PhotoSmart 6525 AIO is of medium size. The input tray has been designed to hold up to 80 sheets of plain paper at any one time, while the machine is formatted to create ordinary documents, envelopes, index cards and photos. The HP PhotoSmart 6525 All-In-One’s timings do vary depending on the complexity of the project being created, although it has been designed to complete print jobs with ease. The printer features digital image processing and enlargement, as well as undertaking regular print jobs.
As well as wireless connectivity and app access, the HP PhotoSmart 6525 All-In-One boasts a range of features, including automatic duplexing (double-sided printing), a resolution of 600x300 dpi for monochrome and black, or 600x600 when in optimum mode and 1200 dpi scanning resolution. Photo quality documents can be printed at a rate of 2 ppm, ensuring speedy results and excellent quality graphics. The printer has great performance and print quality and benefits from an easy set up.
Unfortunately for the HP PhotoSmart 6525 AIO, it does have its pitfalls, including limited paper handling, expensive ink changes and a proneness to paper jam. The printer’s manual duplexing only works when connected to a PC, while the machine is rather noisy, making it not ideal for a home environment or smaller office.
