Home users can save money and space with the compact HP Photosmart 5512 e-All-in-One. This model is aimed at those who want to scan, copy, and print high-quality images with one device. It allows direct printing from mobile devices and other wireless gadgets, and the slim, lightweight frame makes it perfect for limited desk space. However, overall print quality is average at best.
Design
This is a sleek device with an understated matte frame, complete with a flatbed scanner and collapsible 80-sheet input and 15-sheet paper trays. Standard connectivity is via a wireless network and USB. The HP Photosmart 5512 e-All-in-One weighs 5Kg and measures 139.7mm tall, 431.8mm wide, and 330.2mm deep. A simple and minimal control panel with a colour display screen allows for easy on-board operation.
Advantages
It is easy to set-up. Wi-Fi simplifies direct printing along with HP AirPrint and ePrint programmes. The copier of the HP Photosmart 5512 e-All-in-One can digitally process images and reproduce them in 600dpi, while the scanner's optical resolution is 1200dpi for clear and sharp results. The device is energy efficient, and when cartridges run out of ink, they can be sent to HP for the recycling programme. The HP Photosmart 5512 e-All-in-One can print directly from memory cards.
Disadvantages
