Part of a new wave of HP all-in-one printers, the B110a is internet-connected from the get-go. The advantage of which is that you can print from anywhere by simply sending an email to the printer. The B110a printer also comes with a scanner/copier and supports a range of memory cards for direct printing.
Design
The HP B110a is quite bulky for a home device, but shouldn't be too much of a problem unless you really are cramped for space. The printer comes with 2.4" LCD display which is surrounded by 6 sensitive touchscreen buttons. Navigation through the menu's is a breeze and fairly intuitive. In order to take advantage of the internet features of the B110a, you'll need a wireless network as the printer had just a single USB connector at the rear.
Advantages
One of the biggest advantages is the freedom of being able to print on the move. The internet function on the B110a printer is simple and easy to use. Just send an email with or without attachments and the printer will print them out instantly. The quality of which is second to none with text documents, graphs and photographs looking crisp and vibrant with no signs of banding.
Disadvantage
Print speed is a slightly slow, but for a home device, this shouldn't be too much of a problem. The only other obvious flaw is the fact that you can't connect the printer through an Ethernet cable, which means that the printer is only fully compatible in homes which have a wireless router.
